The Friends Bookstore, located on the first floor of the Central Library, sells used and donated books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs, generally for $2 or less. The Friends use sale proceeds to support Madison Public Library's programs and services throughout the year. The bookstore is staffed by volunteers and is open during all hours that Central Library is open (see hours listed above).
