The Pinney Library Saturday Music Series welcomes new musicians into the library on the first Saturday of each month from 11am - 12pm to perform! No registration is required - all are welcome.

Mr. Chair looks like a jazz combo, enchants like a string quartet, and electrifies like a rock band, all while delighting listeners with their fresh and authentic sound. As classically-trained musicians well-versed in jazz, electronics, prog rock, world music and beyond, Mr. Chair is a contemporary fusion ensemble for music fans of all backgrounds. Their sound palette is diverse, and used to tell stories in styles cinematic, surreal, romantic, funky, and whimsical.

hromatix began in 2014 and is an a cappella vocal group based in Madison. They are known for their tight harmonies and stunning arrangements of contemporary pop and alternative songs. In addition to participating in Make Music Madison every year, you may have recently heard them caroling at the Capitol or at the New Glarus Christmas Market, and also enjoyed their recorded vocals for an exhibit at GLEAM at Olbrich Gardens.
Brass Knuckles Quintet and Percussion

Brass Knuckles is a five to six piece brass ensemble proudly centered in Madison, Wisconsin. The group is extremely versatile, playing music of many different styles to suit the diverse events they are called to perform. From renaissance madrigals to jazz, Bach fugues to contemporary pop charts, Brass Knuckles has something for every audience.

Perfect Harmony Chorus is Madison’s LGBTQ+ and ally chorus for tenor/baritone/bass singers. The organization provides singers of any gender or expression with opportunities for the performance of choral music in a supportive and affirming environment. For more than 25 years Perfect Harmony Chorus has created, enriched, and transformed the Greater Madison and Southern Wisconsin community through music. Hear music from their recent spring concert!
