Example 4: How can I find out the name of the ship that transported my relatives from Belgium to America?

blue arrow From the More Genealogy Records section of the first page, click on U.S. Immigration Collection.

blue arrow From the Search Immigration Records page, fill out the spaces for first and last name and other information you have. Then click the orange Search button.

blue arrow This gives you a ranked list of passenger and immigration list records. Click on the list that matches the name and birth date of the relative you are looking for.

AncestryLibrary

blue arrow This gives you the Passenger and Immigration List Record with the port of departure and name of the ship your ancestor traveled to America on! You can choose to print this record or add this information to an ancestral chart.
