What's the average salary for a Travel Agent?

Click on Exploration Center, Occupation Search, and A-Z Search.

Scroll through list of occupations until “Travel Agent” appears. Click on it.

Click Occupation Profile. Earnings are listed near the top but scroll down to learn more about travel agents.

How would I compare the occupation outlooks for Computer Programmers and Computer Engineers?

Click Exploration Center, Occupation Search, A-Z Search, and Compare Occupations. You may have to use the scroll buttons to see the Compare Occupations link. You’ll see a split screen with two A-Z occupation lists.

Select Computer Engineer from the first list and Computer Programmer from the second list. On each half of the screen, click Employment and Outlook. You’ll be able to view the same information for each occupation.

How would I use the Self-Assessment feature to generate a list of jobs that might interest me?

Click Exploration Center, Assessments, and Self-Assessment.

Answer questions by clicking the appropriate radio buttons and click Continue at the end of each page. At the end of last page, click the Search Occupations button.

View chart showing selected occupations and level of interest based on your answers. Click occupation’s bar on chart to view more detailed profile of occupation.
