Madison Public Library Readmobile

The Readmobile is a colorful custom-built van that brings all kinds of library materials for young children. Bring your library card and borrow sturdy board books (for babies and toddlers), picture books (both fiction and non-fiction), book/cassette tape kits (in English and Spanish), and beginning readers (for children just learning how to read). If you don't have a library card, bring a photo ID (student ID, passport, driver's license) and you can apply for one.

We also have a growing collection of children's books in various world languages. We have children's books and/or picture dictionaries in : Arabic, Cambodian, Chinese, Czech, French, German, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Lao, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, and Urdu. Let us know if your language is represented.
