Madison Public Library locations will be closed for in-person services Monday, January 15 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
While our physical spaces are closed, you can continue to access LINKcat to place holds, check your record, or renew items you've checked out. You can also check out our always-accessible online collections, ebooks and downloadable audiobooks from Wisconsin's Digital Library, Flipster magazines, and other online collections. Book returns will remain open for 24/7 service and Pinney Library has a drive-through book drop for your convenience.

The MLK Youth Call to Service will be held on Monday, Jan. 15 at the Central Library. The King Coalition, in partnership with the City of Madison, Dane County, MSCR, Madison Out of School Time (MOST), Madison Public Library, the Urban League and many others, invite middle school youth to participate at the Madison Central Library to explore service and activism in Dr. King’s memory. There is no cost to participate, but registration is required. For more information, contact Andrew Schilcher at aschilcher@ulgm.org.
