If you love the board game Heads Up! then you'll love this app! Choose a deck to play with (e.g. animal kingdom, around the house, the letter B), then hold your device up to your forehead so that you can't see the image that pops up. Ask the other players to answer yes/no questions or they can give you clues about the image to help you guess what the picture is. Once you've played it often enough that you get familiar with the images and they get too easy to guess, buy extra image packs for 99 cents each or create some images of your own! The "Around Town" image deck asks users to take pictures of things in their own community for players to guess and there's a "build your own deck" that you can purchase for 99 cents and use whatever images you like! This game works well for video chatting with friends and family far away as well as people playing in the same room. There is a time limit and the timer beeps for the last few seconds which might cause anxiety for some players, but if you simply turn the volume down you can avoid that. Some of the clues might be difficult for younger players (bagpipes, medusa, hippie, nun, etc.) but you can skip any of the images that don't work for your group and find ones that are familiar.
