National Poetry Month was launched by the Academy of American Poets to remind "the public that poets have an integral role to play in our culture and that poetry matters." To help myself (and you) out I've put together some lists of poetry from last year and some new titles from the the first quarter of this year. This is the third of four lists. Let's read some poetry!
- American Melancholy: Poems by Joyce Carol Oates
- Black Girl, Call Home by Jasmine Mans
- Come-Hither Honeycomb by Erin Belieu
- Doppelgangbanger by Cortney Lamar Charleston
- Frank: Sonnets by Diane Seuss
- God of Nothingness: Poems by Mark Wunderlich
- Lion's Paw by Kathleen Peirce
- Love and Other Poems by Alex Dimitrov
- Stay Safe by Emma Hine
- The Sunflower Cast a Spell to Save Us from the Void by Jackie Wang
