Learning to Grow into Our Second Act: Preparing to be Older and Wiser is a six-week series taking place at Sequoya Library that examines how older adults can navigate the challenges of mature and late adulthood and harvest wisdom along the way. The emphasis is on refreshing and adding to the tools you already have. We'll explore the hard facts that come along with getting older, such as the inevitable declines, the possible loss of connections and meaning, the reality of the end of life, and how we can use tools to ensure a well-lived and satisfying “Second Act.”
The sessions will be weekly on Wednesdays, September 13 - October 18 from 10AM-12PM. The group will not meet on September 27 to give participants the opportunity to attend UW Madison's Institute on Aging Colloquium.
