Summer Cyanotype Workshops

May 9, 2024
Cyanotype Workshops with Creativity Coach Angela Johnson at Pinney Library Summer 2024

Come explore the history of cyanotypes (a camera-less photography process) and try out the process with artist and creativity coach Angela Johnson during four workshops held at Pinney Library this summer. Pre-treated fabric will be used to create single and dual sided imagery, using a variety of materials for inspiration including leaves, flowers, stencils and more. Feel free to bring your own inspirational items from home to use (lace doily, pressed flowers, or other FLAT or translucent materials).

This 3-hour workshop is ideal for older teens 16+ and adults.

Workshop Dates:

Space is limited and registration is required. Each workshop has the same content, and these will be in high demand, so please only select one to attend this summer. Registration will open two weeks prior to each date listed above.

These programs are made possible thanks to the Friends of Madison Public Library.
