Naturalist-in-Residence: Meet the 2024 Naturalist

*Offsite
Friday, Jul 19, 2024, 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Come meet Alex Booker, the 2024 Naturalist-in-Residence at Madison Public Library, as he kicks off his six-week residency at the library! Learn about the ways Alex was shaped by green spaces and why he chose the theme "Find Your Way Back to Nature" for this year's residency. Alex's own nature journey began with a gardening program hosted at a local Madison community center, so he wanted his first program to be held at the Badger Rock Neighborhood Center, where he currently serves as the manager. Enjoy a tour of the urban farm as well as a Q&A with the naturalist!

Meet at 501 E Badger Rd, Madison, WI 53713.

Part of the MPL Naturalist-in-Residence. For more information visit madpl.org/naturalist. The Naturalist-in-Residence is made possible in part by generous support from Nancy Leff and Kenneth Lerner, and in partnership with Madison Parks.
