Holiday Jazz Concert with Feestet
All are invited to this afternoon concert with the local musicians of Feestet.
Feestet is a Madison-based jazz ensemble fronted by vocalist Helen Feest. They will perform a special trio arrangement of winter and holiday music, with some of their jazz classic favorites mixed in. The trio is composed of Helen, Anthony and Frank, with Frank McKearn IV on the Electronic Valve Instrument. A 1970’s analog synthesizer with 7 octave range, the EVI showcases both Frank’s trumpet chops and bass experience. They are joined by the project’s primary composer/arranger, Anthony Utehs, on guitar.
