Madison Public Library loves to empower people to learn new skills and practice useful crafts. Sewing is a great way to let your creativity show, do something hands-on, and make something that you can use (or maybe even wear) in everyday life. Adult Beginning Sewing: Teddy Bears
Friday, March 1, 1-4pm | Alicia Ashman Library
Friday, April 5, 1-4pm | Alicia Ashman Library
First-time or beginner sewers can learn to sew with local artist Rita Salm during these classes offered at Alicia Ashman Library in the spring. You will use provided materials and supplies to select fabrics, cut patterns and put all the pieces together to create your own teddy bear. By the end of the class, you should have your very own bear to take home! Both classes are the same and space is limited to just 5 participants each so please only sign up for one session.
Registration is required and opens two weeks before each event - register for the March 1 class on February 16 at 10am and for the April 5 class on March 22 at 10am.
