Zavier Smith

Zavier Smith is a Wanda Fullmore Intern at Meadowridge Library.  He currently attends Memorial High School. Zavier is the youngest of three children, and greatly admires his two older sisters, one who is still in college and the other who recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Zavier assists with many of the Youth Services events. He particularly enjoys working with younger children, especially when he was able to supervise a few of them playing Fortnight.  One thing that surprises Zavier about working at the library is how many people utilizes the space, not only for reading but also for programming and community building. He feels the internship has taught him a lot about patience and, while he is a patient person generally, aims to hone this skill as he continues to navigate the professional world.  Zavier hopes to attend college one day for architecture and feels the internship will assist him with getting a job while pursuing the degree.
