There is need for help in several positions, including site coordinators, reception greeters, document intake and income tax preparation. Accounting or finance experience is not necessary to volunteer. Those helping clients, coordinating sites, and providing tax preparation services will receive formal training, making this a good opportunity to learn about federal and state tax laws and the preparation process while serving the communities where they live and work. We will send detailed information in response to your application. 2) For high school students needing hours for National Honor Society or similar programs: please submit this form with details on your availability and the number of hours needed in what timeframe. Court-ordered community service: please let us know the number of hours you need to complete in what timeframe and provide details on your availability- time of day/days of the week. PlayLab Associates reset play areas, dust, sanitize toys, and maintain a friendly and welcoming presence in the PlayLab. Volunteers commit to working the same hourlong shift every week (minus illness, vacation, etc). Shifts available: afterschool for an hour: Thursday or Friday 7:30-8:30pm: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday Current Openings at Sequoya Library - 4340 Tokay Blvd Volunteers wanted for Dungeons and Dragons program. Sequoya Branch Library seeks committed volunteers to lead and teach Dungeons and Dragons to young adventurers. All dice/books provided. Must have experience with the Dungeons and Dragons game. Experience as a Dungeon Master is a plus! Volunteers must be able to convey the game rules to novice players. This is a wildly popular program which has been established for 2 years. The program takes place weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. A solid commitment to that day and time is ideal. Above is the only volunteer opportunity currently available at Sequoya Library. They are looking for friendly and service-oriented people to join their volunteer team for the upcoming tax season.
