What is Family Music Time?
The Madison Public Library has always loved bringing music into our spaces, especially for kids! Over the years, we have hosted Family Music Time classes at Hawthorne, Lakeview and Monroe Street library locations for kids 5 and under. These interactive music classes give babies and toddlers a chance to learn new songs, sing, dance, and enjoy music with their families.
Family Music Time has moved online! Eliza Tyksinski, a trained Music Together® instructor, has created 8 virtual music classes, each 15-20 minutes long, for parents and caregivers to watch and enjoy with their kids. You can view the entire playlist on our YouTube channel.
