Little Kitten is back for more adventures, this time in school! Try out a number of mini-games with Little Kitten and his friends, including matching games, counting games, sorting games, and more. While I have some reservations about the actual content of some of these games (there's a "language" game that asks kids to "match the item" and then shows a chalk drawing of a car and they're supposed to choose the picture of another form of transportation or a drawing of a sun and choose a picture of weather ("matching" a tornado and a sun seems like a bit of cognitive stretch for preschoolers) and the goal of the painting game is to "stay within the lines" which goes against all of my artistic instincts), I'm reviewing this app with reservations because of the FOURTEEN different language options. When you choose a language, the entire game -- instructions, narration, everything -- switches to that language. And also that hyper-realistic cat is ridiculously cute. This would be a great app to try out while sitting with your child and seeing which mini-games they can do without help and which ones need a little explanation and which ones are well beyond your child's current capacity. Once they've mastered some of the games, try switching to a different language!
