April is National Poetry Month and you can celebrate by reading some poetry. I know poetry isn't everyone's cup of tea, but as with a lot of genres, sometimes it's just a matter of finding the one that works for you. So check out some of the new and upcoming poetry books listed below and let us know if you find one or have some to recommend.
- We Eat to Rremember: Soul Food Poetry by Fabu Phillis Carter
- The Collected Poems of Anselm Hollo by Anselm Hollo
- The Asking: New and Selected Poems by Jane Hirshfield
- The Beloved Community by Patricia Spears Jones
- Have You Been Long Enough at Table by Leslie Sainz
- Removal Acts by Erin Marie Lynch
- The Way Forward by Yung Pueblo
- Organs of Little Importance by Adrienne Chung
