Madison Public Library hosted several activities as part of the WE READ summer reading program in 2024. In order to continue improving our offerings each year, we'd love to hear your feedback on WE READ.
This year, Madison Public Library’s WE READ summer reading program included:
- The WE READ Card Game
Nine WE READ Bubbler Artists-in-Residence hosting weekly programs at each library location- WE READ tote bags that kids and families could fill with library books
- A weekly Share Your Voice question at the desk where kids could earn prizes
- Alphabet Foraging scavenger hunts
The WE READ Youth Voices Writing Contest- Library Storytimes, Early Literacy Tips, and Early Literacy Book Displays
- Early Literacy calendars from the Public Library Association and Baby Song Books
